Every now and again you come across a product that just blows you away. For me this was like watching someone invent the Wheel.

We have been looking into solutions to simplify solar thermal installations, especially for Residential Systems or for Pool heating.

The Bubble Action Pump could be the answer to all this.

The system is more or less self regulating, when the sun shines, the liquid in the pump (Water & Glycol) starts to boil at low temperature (due to the vacuum). This water boiling basically sets in motion the circulation of fluid from the Solar Collectors and at the same time the hot fluid circulates to your the Hot Water Storage tank.

System Sizing

The system has been used on Collector arrays of up to 10 Collectors.

Pool Heating

This system works just aswell for swimming pools or hot tub heating. Heating swimming pools and hot tubs can be very expensive. Solar Collectors can save hundreds, if not thousands of dollars per year on Pool heating costs and extend the swimming season.

Freezing Climates

The working fluid (supplied with the system) is an antifreeze mixture. The Pump itself is Borosilicate Glass, the same type of glass used in the Evacuated Tube Solar Collectors we sell. This is a very tough glass.
